Hi to all Z owners. :D

I have been a Z owner since Decenber last year and have been spending time exploring a number of forums that cover the BMW Z models.

One of the things I was looking for was the opportunity to get away on some European weekend jaunts, as a result I decided to launch one up on an alternative forum that I have been more active on under the guise of Z3Topaz22. I thought I would post this info up on this forum along with the link below as it might well appeal to a number of the fellow members of this forum.

Please click on the link to view full details of the trip.

I know a number of the members on this forum already access several other forums and may well have already seen details of the trip. However for those of you that haven't then I hope it may be of interest to you.

Cheers

Nice, I did the Harz trip earlier in April but did not get a lot of takers here though ...

Personally, I would not take a ferry but only the tunnel.

Hi,

I know what you are saying about the tunnel / ferry option, however in my experience the ferry is a great way of getting the group of people on the tour introduced to one another.

These trips are as much about the people, the cameraderie that builds up and the banter on the radios so the hour spent before reaching the French coast is a great opportunity for this to begin.

Cheers

I bet this is why pvr wants to take the tunnel.... :poke:

This looks really interesting, but I notice there is only 10 days from now to think about it and get some names together :(

I will print the instructions for you flimper on how to get there :poke:

Very tempting. I do intend on exploring my old stomping grounds in the Z4 some point in the future. Gotta wait and see if I will be staying here till then. So i won't make the reservation payment. Probably will do my own thing though, I'm envisioning a much much bigger trip in my head.

The issue regarding timescale for deposits is not quite so pressing as I can accept registration and deposits up to the 30th June 2011 from members of Z4-forum as this allows a little more time to make arrangements (ie passengers / time off work etc) if that helps.

I know the launch of the trip on the forum was at short notice but it was because I thought it might appeal to some of the members who may not be aware of other forums out there.

Cheers

Shaun
