German style reg plates

German style plates now an MOT failure - UK plates must have the 'BS' stamp confirming compliance with regs (normally bottom centre or left/right bottom corner). Of course you could put them and take them off for the MOT....... .

German style plate surrounds are on E Bay, quick search will find them.

German style plates (i.e. German font and with the D instead of GB) look naff and chavvy IMO. German plate surrounds are fine though as they're legal but still obviously fitting with the nature of the car.

I've seen a couple of members on here with German plates (at least they look German style).

Personally, I like the look of them. However, PC plod in our area takes a dim view on such things :(

How funny, I'd expected you to say a lower number. I don't know if they issue the reg number in order though...
