Geomtry / Tracking Question

Hi guys,

Ok here goes.....I recently purchased a Z4M. Really happy with it. It was from a BMW dealer and is under warranty. Once of the reasons I got the car is because they had a some expesive items done to the car to get it up to scratch namely brakes and discs......I also get a copy of their internal invoices.....

The car pulls slightly to the left at motorway speeds....I also noticed on the internal invoice that a suspension bush had been changed during the dealers prep work. Question is - would this alter the geomtry? and possibly the reason why my car is pulling to the left? I am taking the car back to hopefully get a free tracking session done from them....any pointers welcome. cheers.

In my experiance all BMs i've had have pulled to the left slightly, however it shouldn't be too noticeable.

I'm sure someone else with the same model might be able to give you a better idea and if the dealers say there is nowt wrong or they will charge you I would find an indy to do it as they will be much cheaper and will be able to get the spec right on.

Depends which suspension bush

ARB's & drop links won't make any difference, though change the lollipops or rear trailing arm bushes & definitely needs to be done

As for pulling to the left, never, unless it's tramlining then could go either way

Thanks guys.

I appreciate what you mean about tram lining but this is not....I could go in a circle if I had enough land" :driving:

Get a hunter geo done and see what they say. Local place to me will asses it for free so if it doesn't need doing they won't charge

If nothing is peace of mind the wheels are all painting the right way
