Crazy people are paying £45 for something second hand I got for £47 posted brand new direct from BMW.
Crazy you paid £47 to the dealer when I picked up a copy from Amazon for £28 that is indistinguishable from the real thing. :poke: :D
Out of interest I even took it apart first and the internals are identical too.

That makes me wonder even more then why someone would pay £45 for one of these second hand when they are supposed to be so fragile.

How long have you had the clone for and I take it you use it often and it's stood up well? If I break one of my originals I'll try the clone out next time.

I fitted a pair in wifey's 2.5i about three years ago, purely because the lack of symmetry would have bugged me.
Not sure the passenger one has ever been used, but the driver's one gets a lot of use.
In the interests of fairness to the OP, I will PM you the link.

I think people are forgetting that the price OP is asking isn’t for just the cup holder inserts, it’s also for the air vent covers too. Those are most definitely not cheap to replace, so I think the price being asked is totally fair.

£45 for a complete air vent direct from BMW with a cupholder...exactly when did you purchase that? I'll take 10 of each side

You seem to make a habit of posting replies about how expensive things are being sold for on the forum and how you sold/bought them so much cheaper in the past...I guess you've not heard about inflation, items being NLA and scarcity of goods, get with the times and stop living in the past :headbang:

Yeah I don't know anything about inflation I only work in the financial sector and a professional within.

However I bought my cupholders literally a couple of months ago for £47 straight from BMW. Fair enough you are including air vents but I doubt anyone is buying these for the vents but the cupholders themselves. How often does one break their vents? It's unheard of really.

If the vents are expensive then would have been wiser to split them. But I doubt there is a large market for them compared with the holders.

As for prices on here. I was complaining some things were being sold too cheap or people were wanting a mint set of alloys for a lot less than their real worth.

My last post was specifically telling someone if they can get the M version of the Z4's alloys for £700 and in mint condition then they should go do that as they are now £2400 new. They were complaining people were asking £800+ for them or the ones on here were the wrong colour.

However they didn't mention they had to buy destroyed alloys for buttons and then get them repaired to a high standard for apparently just £75 per corner to meet their £700 valuation and all the hassle contained within transporting to and from a refurb place and waiting for them to be done. I said what were they waiting for if they could get them that cheap there is no point waiting 2 years to save £100. Buy them now and you will get more than £100 worth of enjoyment out of them across that 2 years wait for a cheap set.

So I complained about the exact opposite that it was pointless trying to save £100 on something if they could get it mint for £700 and are now £2400 new.
