Will these fit our 2008 Z4 3.0si currently with 18" Comp Star Spoke (12 months old like new);

GENUINE BMW E46 M3 19" ALLOY WHEELS+CONTINENTAL 3 TYRES REFURBED DIAMOND CUT with 235/35 ZR19 91Y FRONTS AND 255/35ZR19 96Y REARS. Rims 8J and 9.5J. Offsets 47 and 27 - different to ours?

Our current wheels are absolutely mint, being 12 months old / c. 6,000 miles only as the great people at BMW supplied them under warranty last year due to corrosion on originals after 4 years; well played BMW

Will the M3 19" wheels fit? How can I find out how old they are - stamped on the wheel? I'm going from nearly new to potentially 5, 6, 7, 10 year old rims........?

Advice please - thanks.

Have you pics of the wheel style ? pretty sure the m3 offset will be much lower than you have now but ask "MachineMonkey" as he has genuine M3 alloys on his Z4

Yes, they'll fit, but the rear wheel will protrude further from the car. If you lower your car, the added camber May tuck the rear wheels in slightly, which will lessen the protrusion.

Of course, I think it will look daft, and to save you embarrassment will happily take the wheels off your hands? :D No charge 8)

:roundel:

Will be selling perfect Composite Star Spokes with very good Eagle F1's -12 months old....... :D

Hi Helen

They do fit but as said above they are a tight fit. And to be honest i had to have my arches rolled and then when i lowered my car i had to cut some inner arch away. I am planing to remove 3-4 mm of the wheel face so that they fit perfectly.

As for them looking daft i have to disagree Adamski!!

He was joking mate

Thanks woots but i understand we are all have our opinions.

The weehs do not stick out but are very close to the inner arch. But the wheels themselves really look good on the car. And they are a great strong well made item and reasonably light.

Thanks all.

MM, CAN YOU SEND ME A COUPLE OF PHOTOS OF YOUR CAR / wheels so I can see how they look and sit, especially rear arches?

Will PM you about your quad pipe option too. I have been discussing this with a local stainless steel exh man.....

Thanks

Ok no problem I will see what I can find Hellen. The car is on axel stands tight now so can't take any! I am just off out but will sort it tomorrow. Or have a look through my thread

MM thanks - plenty photos via links thanks! Wheels look great, seem to sit bob on.

Have sent PM"...........

I've decided to go for 4x front wheels instead, as I didn't want any poke or rubbing at the rear.

Hoping they'll look OK once I've refurbed them and fitted some spacers.

Andrew.

I fitted these to my e46 325ci & fitted 4 front wheels they looked great & off set would be fine on the zed. Will try & find photos. Should be able to source front wheels as BMW had a problem with those 19" wheels as well, corrosion & cracking.
