Ad reads like they could be the 8j fronts which generally reflects in the ask in comparison to 8.5js but price is far from ott if the rubber has some decent life left .

I read the ad as "E46 M3" so 8j , E46 CSL id have read 8.5j , whichever the question needs asking as the 8j fronts does generally affect the value of a used set .
If they are the 8.5j fronts & rubber is half decent then they would appear £150/£250 cheaper than you would normally expect

Well i wouldn't fancy chasing "Lynchy" or "Pastry" around Normandy on them but for the guys who tootle around the south downs on Sundays they would be ok

Are they a good but at £1k? I was after some 18s, but they are pretty hard to find 2nd hand.

New around £1500 wheels only .
Seller claims 12 months use but that's like saying "never raced or rallied " :roll: think you would need to factor new rubber if not immediately then pretty soon

Definitely a good buy at a grand I'd say, if csls are your thing!

The thing is any 18s will always be Replicas because OE CSLs were always 19s!

I sold a set of 18" CSL Reps needing a refurb with a mishmash of barely legal tyres on here last year for £100. :roll:

The OE 224s aren't so bad (I'm probably going back to them on my car). Unless your car needs new tyres I'd just run it on them until you find wheels you really like at a price you can't refuse. :lol:

It is tempting, I do like the look of CSls, and they come with tyres so can be used / will not demand new tyres straight away. I will need new rears on my 18s soon.

But I have a big bill due soon....

Particularly if it's true that they are now nla from bmw.
That might be bollocks though, I haven't asked myself but have heard so.
Still a good price if not and a great one if it is true as they will inevitably increase in value.
