Genuine CSL wheels & tyres offered for £1k + 224s WITHDRAWN

Would be interested in this if the offer from Tom falls through.

Would need to be able to swap them on to my car in exchange for the 224s (which I would describe as in "well worn" condition - much lacquer peel) there and then though as would need to drive it there and back!

Alternatively, happy to discuss a cash only price if that is something that would interest you.

Have PMd Tom RE the logistics / location ShineyT but that's my ideal & more than happy to remove 224s & fit the CSL wheels at my address so buyer can drive on them to know all is well & more importantly that all 4 run true , are balanced up correctly & cosmetically fit the bill .

I'll keep a an eye on this Andy. As we discussed, the logistics are a problem for me at the moment, I just don't have an opportunity to get up to you at the moment.

How will these fit on a 3.0si? Any rubbing?

They won't fit anything other than an M due to the offsets - unless you like your rear wheels protruding well outside of the arches Carlos Fandango style... :driving:

The fronts would be ok if car not lowered & even then may need 225 35 rubber / rears would be pokey to say the least but I'm not saying they won,t work as I'm pretty sure a forum member has done it on his non M car

For any non M owners, I am currently running a 19" CSL (rep) ET27 9.5j with a 225 tyre on the rear of y non M an get no rubbing and it sits just under the arch :driving:

Here are genuine CSL (rear) on a 3.0SI if it can help ;) Front are BMW competition package in 8x19 with a 10mm spacer.

But the Z looks so good with them on!

Understand the itchy feet with looks tho, the car looks great on its new wheels

Well, I stand corrected  I ran 9.5J CSL reps ET 33 on the rear for a while and they were too pokey for me - an additional 6mm protruding would have been too much for me personally, but I didn't get any rubbing lowered on Eibachs, just couldn't live with the looks....

Hey Mr Wilks
Stick me on the reserve list. I don't have any 224s spare so will have to be a straight cash deal.
I was waiting to hear what a new set would cost from BMW GB (heavily discounted) as I have access to their staff scheme but they won't supply them as they're not for a M3 CSL :headbang:

If you shop around them all a brand new set from BMW can be bought without CSL logbook for around £1740 i believe mr P & i also have a pal at Bowkers who can get them for me but £1785 is his best figure & that's with his staff discount

Thats way too steep for me Andy by the time you put the rubber on. Maybe the 224s are so bad
