Genuine BMW Performance 325mm perforated brake discs

Hi all,

Quick heads up, cheapest I've seen a pair of these discs at £229.50. Was at £270 but knocked down this morning. These are the genuine BMW performance perforated discs that are a direct fit onto the 3.0si.

Expensive but they're almost 1.2kg lighter per corner than standard discs with a semi-floating aluminium hub and directional cooling vanes with perforations. Essentially the same design but as the M3/Z4M/CSL discs but shrunk down and designed to fit standard hubs.

Here you go:

Only one pair left on this listing because I bought the other pair!

Discs are number two in this diagram:

Cheers

Sorry folks, I bought them! However it still says 1 pair available ............... so you never know :)

I’ve ordered a pair too! Been toying with the idea for a while but never seen them discounted or managed to get one from my dealer. Perhaps they’re shifting stock pre year end.

Brilliant, I've been looking into brake upgrades and new discs, these look great. Are a similar set available for the rears too?

They’ve just cancelled mine and refunded. Would have been nice to get an explanation, but nothing. DPD apologised as the order is cancelled though?

Really cool upgrade for the 3.0s these, a 2 piece disc is so much better for heat management.
I enquired for a price on these at my friendly dealer who always do a good price on discs, they have them for £214.44 the pair delivered if anyone's interested.

Seems odd :|

I got confirmation from DPD they're delivering mine tomorrow. Will let you know what happens.

I probably should have rung round a few dealers first in retrospect. Still got a good deal though. I've been eying these up for a while so jumped on them when they dropped. Now just need a decent set of pads and some 5.1 fluid and I should be good to get on the track.

Just had this:

This sort of thing happens on Ebay all the time. Companies selling stuff put multiple listings for the same product to try and corner the market and if more than 1 person orders at the same time they dont have the stock to supply.
A while ago I was looking for standard wheel bolts and there was multiple listings for the same size bolts but with a different car model in the heading. All of them said 2 available so I ordered 2 from 1 listing and 2 from another. Next day I had a refund saying they only had 2 in stock. Its annoying when there must have been around 20 different listings for the same size bolts from the same company and all it does is create pages after pages on Ebay when 1 listing could cover it.

They cancelled mine earlier but then reinstated the delivery. Should be here tomorrow all being well

Sadly not Barney. Just the fronts.

Ps. My son is called Barney - and one day he wants my Z4! :)

Thats a shame, a full set of perforated discs on Zeds look great. I've also been looking into EBC discs etc

Great name! And even better choice in cars!

Arrived today, look good!

Haven't got new pads yet so will wait until I get those before I fit them.

They look great, just like m3/z4m construction  . Some decent pads and fluid and that will be a great combo I reckon.
You could say a lot of unkind things about the e46m3/z4m braking system however the quality and design of the discs would not be one of them. I still use my bmw rears with my APs, work great.
