I was led to believe 'forum etiquette' was for whoever expressed a serious interest first should be given first dibs by other interested parties.
This was in order; True Blue, me, Jock, bg1, then woolybear, etc.

Obviously it is entirely up to the seller who they sell them to and can't blame them for going with whoever shouts loudest tbh. They may have sold off the forum, if so then I apologise.

Personally I was waiting for further information from the seller, but would have deferred to Martin (true blue) if they were of interest. :|

My understanding of the forum rules is that bg1 should have got these, presuming the offer was ‘to collect in person’ rather than being conditional on sending a courier.

I understood that the rules state that if a buyer made an unconditional offer at asking price, they got first dibs. The only person to have done that on the thread is bg1 - (If he was collecting in person and not sending a courier).

Personally, I think the ‘first person to express a serious interest’ is fairer, but ultimately I think it should be the sellers choice within certain parameters - I.E. buyer 1 can collect the next day, buyer 2 can’t collect for three weeks etc.

Strictly Per the rules though, I believe bg1 was effectively first in the queue.

I’m not overly disappointed on this occasion, but I probably would be if I was bg1

Genuinely gutted these have gone!

I’ve been looking at these recently and are very similar but the ACs were way cheap.

That was my initial thoughts, the OP realised by the clamour for them that they were way underpriced and then they “sold” very quickly but to no one on here who’d shown an interest.

BTW, you don’t need new wheels, you’ve a new blue roof to pay for

You were. You decided to interpret collection preferred as collection ONLY to suit your purposes as well.
