I know, I know another Porsche topic but, would you? this one is up for less than £26k!

I know these have a different engine to the usual 996 and theres always 'it ll never be a z4m' type comments posted.

Anyway have you ever come across another surprising car deal on your journies through pistonheads/autotrader-land?

No to your question but that car has figured in previous debate on 911 forum , what a machine & brought back memories of my 996.1 (only the GT3 kit i,m afraid )
sold for £13k 18months ago :( http://i1164.photobucket.com/albums/q576/beaucostil/july11011.jpg cue Frank sinatra :| regrets ? ive had a few

I could never afford to run the gt3 - despite it being the ultimate car for my tastes, but your 996 looks lovely and at 13k I bet someone got a great deal. Love the colour of yours too mate

Wouldn't touch it but I'd be more likely to touch it over any other 996 of that age/mileage. A mate that works at DeutchTek claims the engine in these is way more reliable than anything else Porsche did around that time.

GT3/GT2/Turbo have no issues that the normal 996/997s have as the engine is different so mechanically safe.

Wouldn't want something of that milage tho. No chance a car like that has done 185k motorway milage, be the most uncomfortable 185k

I did a 200 mile motorway journey in a 997 GT3 and I thought I was going to die. Should be part of the SAS selection process.

Agreed! Track car/ experience day tool was my thoughts. Ragged to hell and back!
