Gearknob Insert

Prob running the risk of "use search button" here but .........

Is the std Z4 gearknob inset removable and if so, will it fit into the ZHP gearknob insert apperture ???

Seems crazy for Leatherz to charge so much more to have a std 6 speed pattern as compared to the //M logo insert (and I really dont want to have the //M logo version which will cheapen my 3.0 :poke:).
 
IIRC I read somewhere that all BMW's have inter-changable gear knobs from around 1986. ZHP will definetly fit in your zed... I have one... with the ///M badge! :wink:

No issue with knowing whether the knob will fit (fair do's theres more than enough postings asking this :rofl: ) jus wondered if I could dig the 6 speed insert out of my existing and sticking it into the ZHP as a cheaper alternative to paying an extra 20 odd quid.

Looks like my first M badge then :fuelfire:
 
Oh sorry, I misunderstood your OP. I think the M badge looks fine IMHO.

Might want to consider this one if you do decide to go for the M one...
