Looking around the internet came across these.
Probably not quite the same gearbox as on the Zed, but very nice pics.

That looks unsurprisingly expensive and complex ... and why I will always keep my warranty up to date :lol:
 
It is the 7 speed DCT transmission, as used in the E89 35i and others.

Her two-pack a day voice and barely disguised Engrish just killed it for me :rofl:

This is the AWD Porsche variant I think. The Z4 gets a lighter unit without the diff and drives to the sides. Can anybody just buy one of these from ZF then? Morgan could have used one in the Aeromax, with the 6 litre V12... hmmmm yeah
