Gearbox Oil

Hopefully this is the right choice, car has 130k on it and I imagine that the gearbox oil has never been changed. Its an manual box (SDrive 23i). I take it the box is approx 1.5 litre , so 2 litres will be enough.

Ok after reading and a tight budget, don't really want to be spending £25 a litre on RedLine or BMW. Would this be ok, or do I have to check colour of sticker on manual box

I have a 2.3 manual as well
2liters is sufficient. I used Castrol Syntrans B75W which is released by BMW as well.
After 80000kms the original oil still looked like new as opposed to the diff oil which was pitch black
