Gearbox oil change

Has anyone done there’s ? How much did it cost ?
I just got quoted £299+ vat for 3.0ltr auto ? Sounds a bit high to me.
Thoughts anyone ?

Doesn't surprise me, believe it's a bit of a rig ma roll to change the auto box oil, or is that just the DCT box.

If its the DCT then there are a number of horror stories about changing the oil, so make sure your garage knows what they are doing.

If it's DCT, then the sump plate is probably leaking anyway. So, have that changed and, obviously, new oil at the same time.

Not far off what I paid at a local indy. The recommendation is that they change the seals on the box and the mechatronic. Then add the oil plus labour. I was told that it's quite a laborious job but then again they always say that.

its thr same old story isnt it. bmw made a nice basic e85, but folk wanted more -or maybe bmw did, but it always gets more complicated to do something. im sure the following versions are faster better ect. but i like basic, the more there is, the more complex it becomes

What has this got to do with changing the gearbox oil?
