I beleive yours is the m54b25 If someone has the 3.0 m54 then hopefully they can advise if it has a 6 speed. One thing to consider is the power band vs the gear ratios. Maybe theres a good reason your has a 5spd

B ben g Elite Essex Nov 14, 2015 #3 The box from the 3.0 m54 should be a bolt on job as it's the same engine, just bored out and stuff as far as I know, so the actual mounting should be similar if not exact.
