Gear shift indicator

I seem to have lost the gear change indicator on the e89 dash . I've tried using bc to toggle but can't find a reset for it . Any clues around please.

Press the BC button on the end of the stalk for 3 seconds to activate/de-activate the feature.
If this fails;

You can get your user manual for the car as an app (BMW Drivers Guide), download it and have a search.
The shift indicator is a codeable feature. Have you had your car serviced recently? If so it may need re-coding..
