Gear knob

quick question, is it easy to change the gear knob, ive got a 2004 2.2, plus where could i get a nice one from for not too much money, ie under £40, the one in mine looks tatty ?

Yep, just tug hard and it comes off!

zhp is the most common replacement knob. Roof down, 2nd gear and pull best method- just mind ur teeth!

When i tried to replace mine with a ZHP it was tight as hell ,in the end i got a mate to sit in the passenger seat and with two of us pulling it came off.I thought the gear stick was about to come out due to the ammount of pulling needed to remove the gearknob.
