G'day all,

I've finally got round to getting myself a Z4. Been drooling over them for a while now and now that I am working for myself (freelancing) I've finally got the money to nab myself a nice one.

It's a 2005 2.5i S model (the uprated model over here in the Netherlands) and she's a beaut. Cars over here do tend to be a fair bit pricier than elsewhere due to this stupid BPM (its another 20% or more tax on the new price of cars) so a decent 3.0 was out of the question.

Still, for NL, the 2.5 is sweet.

Now to fix the travesty that is the sound system. I'll also try my hand at contributing a bit around here if I can, I've been lurking for a good few months :)

Aye, pics, coming up as I think the sun is going to manage to make an appearance today. Just after I finish ripping out the vents to slap in this parrot.

HI, welcome. Agreed the sound system is rubbish (student golf 4 was better!). Do you intend to unpgrade it and so how?
 
Thank you all for the warm welcome. Parrot is in, working nicely. Shame I have to keep working today. Blood suckers......

But seriously, awesome how-to's here. Popped the vents off now worries thanks to some judicious searching around here to get some info.
