Hello everyone,

I am Rohan from New Zealand. I am in the market for a Z4M coupe. There's not many of them here in NZ, hence I am wanting to import one to NZ. Would like one in Imola Red preferably.

Currently I have a 1987 M535i and 1987 M325i in the stable. (NZ received an E30 sport which was rebadged as a M325i by various dealers as the M3 wasn't available).

Welcome Rohan, nice to see another member in New Zealand. Where about are you? You have a couple of nice car’s in your collection. Probably your best option is to import one. You’ll be aware that 3 Z4M coupes have sold here in the last year, I think there were only 4 or 5 NZ New ones registered?
Been considering bringing in an E86 to compliment my E85 but hoping one turns up here to save the bother. Been having some good discussions with a fellow forum member in Christchurch who is kinda interested as well, he’ll no doubt welcome you as well.By the way, I’m in Wellington and been a BMW fan for a while and know a few people who have raced E30 325i’s.

Bill from CH told me about this forum. We been chatting and we are thinking of importing the car/cars from UK.

I made the mistake of not buying the Blue one that recently got sold in NZ. Test drove it and loved it. But hey, that's life. And I want one in Red.

Haha - Bill is the man, been chatting to him as well. The blue one looked nice, the silver one that sold a few months prior to that was nice as well, apparently in Wellington but havn’t seen it here yet. Keep me posted.

Welcome to the forum Rohan. Great little collection you have there a 3.2 will sit nicely in there. Good look hunting down another classic for your garrage. 8)

Hi Rohan,
I was near Christchurch in Lyttelton (and around the South Island) earlier this year and only saw one coupe and one roadster and no M’s in 3 weeks.

I live in the U.K. near Leeds West Yorkshire. If you find a car near me that you fancy importing and want someone to give it a look over I’m more than happy to do so, although I must stress I’m no mechanic!

Try contacting some of the BMW Clubs over here in Australia. I saw a red coupe a few months ago, not for sale, in north western Sydney. Try CarSales.com.au and Carsguide.com.au
