The thing that does matter and I find the most offensive and depressing in all debates/discussions like this is this issue that some people appear to have with the fact that we all have personal opinions; believe it or not it is allowed!!

Can't not really chime in on this one..
I don't really get the pride march thing, i'm sure if i went along id no doubt immediately understand it - all pictures i see on facebook of it are of people having a good time. I guess its not a protest, its a celebration of society moving forward and being accepting, and good for anyone that does decide to attend, just like those of us who choose to meet in a carpark and talk about brake discs.
I'm personally happy, and glad, that tired, out of date and ignorant opinions and beliefs around LGBT will die out with the generation that hold them, and that my generation is forward thinking and likely going to lead to an improved world in the future where we live in a much nicer and accepting place where this topic would never of existed (nobody would of thought to question the pride events).
I'm all for free speech, so people should share their opinions happily - but don't expect not to be judged for them.
I guess you also have to remember some people did grow up in different times when these things weren't acceptable, and some of those people are not as open minded as others.
Lets hope the rest of this topic concentrates on the real issue with the Gay Pride march... which is the same as every other London based march... the traffic is terrible and really gets in the way of my Z4 driving.

I don't care what anyone does for fun/entertainment as long as they're not harming others, breaking the law, or not harming animals.
If you don't like it, ignore it. That being said, it's ok to voice your opinion either way too.

I seriously had to google LGBT because I was wondering why so many people were in support of a lettuce bacon and tomato sandwich. Shows how interested I was about it all

Well yes it certainly was supposed to be intentionally funny but some people had a sense of humour failure. I admit to adapting it from a joke I heard years back. As I said, I'm not, nor have I ever been, homophobic! Sorry if any offense was caused!
Friend from school who was also a gym buddy for a while was gay and each to their own, but proper camp people annoy the crap out of me...Louis Spence personality...soo annoying!
