Having made my own boot light strip using a W5W base adapter that shorted and melted I've come up with a solution using OE connectors.
I'm considering making a truly plug and play removable kit but wonder if there would be enough interest to make it worthwhile.
Kit to consist of:
1x self adhesive flexible LED strip
1x LED connector with OE connector
1x connecting red/black length of wire with 2x OE connectors on each end
This would plug straight into the boot light loom connector, replacing the blub housing which can be left in situ.
Stick LED strip on, connect wires and good to go.
Completely reversible and removable.
How much would you be prepared to pay for that?

I'm also wondering if a female socket on the LED and 2x males on the connecting wire would be best or the usual male-female join.
