Can anyone advise on where to get the oil filter and oil cooler gaskets for the 3.0 n52? Has anyone used the main dealer?

I also need the interior door handle trims but can't seem to find the correct satin finish that's on the facelift z4's

Yes I've seen elring ones and I've used them before on other cars with no issues. Can you remember how much they were from the dealer?

Have you tried realoem with your vin to find a part number for the door handle? Or you could just remove one, almost all bmw parts have the number printed on them.

Around £20 per gasket at that particular dealership (Ash Vale), quite steep really but for me was just a piece of mind thing and I made parts savings elsewhere.

Call Sopers BMW Lincoln and mention the forum (or they usually ask) and they can sort you a discount, which varies depending on part but usually 10% or so.

Has anyone used the main dealer?

It's always worth going to the dealer first to get a baseline price. Then you can decide if OEM is worth the saving over OE. Don't be afraid to ask for a discount, try Sopers but also have a look on ebay.

When I did this job I stuck with OE gaskets, they lasted 15 years and 120k miles.
