Dont know if anyone suggested this but theyb can be hard wired into the rain sensor wiring up behind the rear view mirror at leat on the E85. I used a Nextbase power source tucked into recess. Its on permanently so parking mode works well.

Hi yes I thought about wiring it in permanently on…however in my case the car spends most of its time in the garage then out on runs ..the E89s get fussy about low batteries so decided on the ‘just on with the car’ mode..
