Garage size

I'm presuming by Building Warrant, you mean Building Regs approval? My apologies; crossed wires.
Yes I am aware of Building Regs requirements.
The property I was interested in to build this behemoth has since sold anyway, so am still looking

Out your way?

Or…………………

Could you be persuaded to move to Norwich????

I’ve got PP for a 4 bed with integral garage.

I’ve also got 2 applications in for 2 other 4 bed properties with more than enough amenity space for garages 👍

Bit too far for the school run Brian. Also the wife works in Peterborough. I would move anywhere if the price was right and the house/ space was right, but alas it doesn't wash with the rest of the family :(
Got my eye on a real 'doer upper' (subsidence and everything), but even the price of that is too high at present.
I also have (potentially) an option on building a new house on a plot my friend owns but that has got very complicated lately due to money (the planning bit is easy). :?

I didn’t go wide with my garage but up. It’s probably a small double in width but I’ve only got a single (large) door and I can get the Z4 in it along with 4 motorbikes, 4 pushbikes and a workbench is at the far end. There is also a pit which has proved handy on many occasions. Best of all there is a pull down loft ladder which accesses upstairs where all the crap that usually ends up in ones garage is up there out the way
I fancy one last move but finding a house within budget that has a garage that equals or betters my current one isn’t easy.

I have a pretty large detached double garage 8m x 7m which is way better than the standard integral single I had at my previous house or the street parking I had before that

Not to be a grump but I find it frustrating that it’s not quite deep enough to get two cars one behind the other in it :headbang:

I know first world problems and all that .. but I have three cars ( and a garden tractor ) and I can only get two and the tractor in it

8m depth just isn’t quite enough :fuelfire:
