My garage is a s**t hole but that's because it gets used for cutting things, smashing things, drilling stuff, fitting bits, removing what's it's, picking up heavy s**t and other manly acts.

I'd love a garage like yours but I'd not want to get it dirty.

Not a bad idea, i have the HiFi in there so could just add another speaker set in there.

I have just ordered all the tiles and the "ramp" for the entrance.

Gone for dark grey / light grey 50*50 cm studded tiles.

All the web sites I look at suggest you start laying the tiles from the centre and work outwards, but my concern with that is that the entrance "ramp" bits might not end up straight which would be awful looking.

Anything wrong if I lay the entrance ramp tiles first level with the (closed) garage door and work from there inwards?

Normally I would start in the middle of a room but in this case I would do what you say PVR, start by the door as this is the most visible area. The sides and back won't be so easily seen and most likely hidden under units etc.
