Hi all, just asking,if i put the zed away in the garage when it has been raining i tend to dab the fabric roof with a towel to 'dry' it -is this a good idea or not as many owners leave theirs out all weathers?-thanks

If the roof's wet when you put the car away, it's probably best to have the roof up and let it dry in it's own good time. Dabbing it with anything could cause unnecessary wear.

Come on, Andy, everyone knows you should dry it off with your wife's hair dryer.

Plus Andy it will save all that unnecessary wear which you will only end up worrying about

I just let mine dry naturally. And it is always left up if it's wet, of course

I recently did the whole renovo on the roof cleaner, dye and sealant (dont bother with the sealant) , its looking great now however it did not get rid of the wear marks from where the roof sits when open. After trying several products i have found this stuff to work wonders http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261102146889?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D261102146889%26_rdc%3D1#ht_1236wt_1413 , working it into the areas on the roof when wet seems to give the best results although now I am having to trim it every few months :D

Just kidding - leave it to dry naturally with the roof up, don't fold down roof when wet.

And of course as a hardened roadster driver it would only be up when it's wet anyway? Not like those namby-pamby coupe drivers? :poke:
