Just wanted to say found a great BMW specialist in new Barnett north London.

They are called BMERC

They just fitted new discs and pads all round and new shocks to the front drivers side and done my mot and they were great all along, very friendly and rang before they done any work.

Nice to find a decent mechanic, I've had nightmares with previous cars

Thanks for the info - I'm in North London and was searching for a Garage that had recommendations - nothing better in my opinion. I will check them out.... unless you work for them :P
 
They were cheaper than all the others in London aswell, I supplied my own pads and discs but they were absolutely fine with that, a lot of mechanics would have huffed and puffed!

I live NW London but my girlfriend lives in Barnett so wasn't too bad for me at all!
 
Interesting, very close to me. It says they do bodywork as well....you see anyone having spray work done?
 
Im in Finchley Louis, so very close. I do most of my own meachanical work so would really like a good cheap bodyshop more than anything.

Since I had my MOT back in May, I've been looking for a specialist to do some work on my car as I refused the dealers prices to do all the discs and pads on my zed roadster.

If you dont mind me asking, where did you get your discs and pads from? Are they OEM parts? At time of MOT the dealer said my discs were below their recommended minumum, which I posted on here and was told that was likely a load of sh**! But they are squeaking and believe need doing.

Again if you don't mind me asking, how much did they charge? Pm me if you prefer. Im based in E.London but regulary up your neck of the woods.
