Garage / Man Cave Ideas

You need a wallboard for your most used tools (you can see instantly when something is missing), a red floor, a pillar drill, a compressor (very useful) ...and a motorbike = the complete man cave. The beers are in the fridge inthe kitchen :)

also worked into my conditions the garage was mine and mine alone. at the time her indoors had horses and started to fill it up with horse s**t stuff. saddles etc. she found them on the drive one day. if you want to keep crap like that and bikes... get a shed :D... i should add we bought our house with a garage specifically for me to do the car
Totally agree, big danger that all the kids bikes, garden stuff, clothes drier etc etc gets put in and totally clutters up the place.
Difficult not to though.

So my garage was like many others and looked like this to start with, with a Westfield on the other side.

in fact, it looked just like this.

So i started by adding a ceiling new lights and lots of sockets, new Kitchen units and using the off cut from the proper kitchen as a bench, then painting it all white.

It looked like this when done and before the Z4m

Then we added a 14mmPVC floor, pictures of past cars, a petrol pump and blue neon lights around the ceiling….cos i could. Not going to add a sofa or a TV as a 2nd toy car will eventually fill the second side agin.

Very nice

Well I bought the paint today , and my racking systems , also spent 4 hours clearing it out and organsing everything into boxes in preparation :D

De cluttering or Nesting as the wife calls it is a great way to spend a Sunday and the garage always looks good when finished. Crack on fella.

I did start painting mine with an old Pressure washer, did about 2 and 1/2 walls before it gave up. Speeded it up no end.

dont forget before and after pics Paza :)

I think the key in garages (according to the pics above) is keep things off the floor to maximise the feeling (and actual) of space.

Agree 100% and it makes sweeping/cleaning the floor so much easier.
