Garage for tyres - central Scotland

After 2 months of Zed ownership I've come to my senses and realised the run flats need to get binned ASAP!

Not really a specific e86 question- but where do people get tyres fitted? I've seen some horror stories re alloys getting ruined and I love my 108s as they are at the moment!!

I think the tyre decision is an easy one - Michelin PS4s all round, but just wanted to check in to see if people have a garage preference. Based in Falkirk.

Thanks!
Ben

SMS behind the Castle in Stirling have been doing my brothers Porsche’s for 15+ years without incident and there’s been some pretty expensive wheels within that period.

The other thing is see who black circles list as fitters in your area then check the reviews or post back on here to see if anyone has experience with them

Not sure if the deal is still available, but i got a set of 4x Pilot Sport 4's for my 108's at Kwik Fit for £435 fitted. I was hesitant but the Kwik Fit in Elgin was really good. Also you get a free set of wireless headphones haha, bonus!

Thanks!

Booked in through Black Circles on Saturday to a garage with good reviews and 15% off.

Looking forward to seeing what she handles like without the runflats

Get an alignment check after the tyres are fitted.

Check the tyre pressures when you leave the garage too!

I'll be like driving a new car.

Well you are right there - what a difference the non runflats make!!
So much more confidence in the car. Nice to not tramline every time the Zed even looks at the white line now :D

Yes a huge difference, as Skelters says you might want to play about with the pressures a wee bit. I found with the correct pressures it was still a little bit floaty, dropped mine a couple of psi and fine

We’re you happy with the garage and service? If so might me worth giving them a mention so others localish can consider them when the need tyres
