Gary i've been reading old threads about gaptech and have some questions for you while we wait for my gift to get to me I saw in many threads that the scotch lock method isn't the prefered one in terms of connection quallity. Even though you include scotch locks in the package as the easiest way to connect it, what do you think is the best way to connect it? If you could also say pros and cons for this method i would appreciate it.

Got my gap tech module this morning, installed ok and all working perfectly, thanks Gary at Gaptech, this is awesome! Took me 40mins to install in the snow, used the scotch locks which made things really simple. The hardest part has removing the black tape with cold hands.

Installed mine this afternoon, easier than installing a headunit or similar. Very impressed with how seamlessly it went in.

Got mine today and just installed... No problem with the scotch locks, took about 30 mins. I agee witrh other posts. Worst bit was removing the black loom tape.
All in its a great little gadget. Just need some sun now!

Just scissors. Snip gently along and then it comes off easy. There's no need to unravel it.

I think that's why everyone struggled.

Christ, I forgot about scissors, I had the old stanley out trying not to accidentally cut any wires. No wonder I struggled.
