I wondered. When parking, if you span the steering wheel, the battery light would sometimes come on. Still, no longer my problem and in all other respects she's mint. A replacement battery (if it turns out to be needed) isn't going to hurt Sytners wallet.
 
Battery light points more to an alternator on it's way out (this is what actually powers the car when running, battery is just for starting really) or maybe the RPM was dropping very low?
The roof will go up/down a little quicker with the engine running as it gets around 14v instead of around 12v (unless it has it's own voltage regulator bringing it back down to 12v, which is unlikely).
 
Well I dropped the roof for the first time on IMmie today, so much smoother and faster. Noise wise though, the motor sounded the same so maybe the battery/alternator theory is right...

Ho hum, the new owner will get an AUC warranty so all good
 
I don't, but suspect that given all the previous cosseting she's had, she may have been hooked up to a conditioner. She will be in her new garage when I can get one

Haha, i'm not tall either but its surprisingly easy to do! I had to use my memory seat function to get the seat its furthest back first.

I want at least the 'Remote Control Hood (RCH)' £89.99, but ideally the 'Remote Control Hood Plus (RCH+)' £119.99
i would like to think if enough of us bought together we could make a saving on each unit.

Suggest you start a new list and then contact Gary at gapTech. On the last group buy everyone went for the RCH+ model which Gary let us have for £100.98 including postage to the UK. We needed at least 20 people to get this discounted price.

If you can put me down for a "remote control hood" for now, i may upgrade to the "+" if we can get it to 100 gbp like last time... :thumbsup:

What we did last last time was to start a list and then ask anyone who wanted to join to cut and paste the previous list and add their username. This makes it easy for Garry. Have a look at the previous Group Buy thread. :wink:
 
If you PM gapTech then he'll probably be happy to give price breakpoints for certain numbers of orders - so 10, 20, 30 etc.

We maxed out last time, the full remote and one touch unit came in at just over £100 delivered.

Still one of the best mods I have done, such a great toy :D

Agreed but I rarely get the timing right.........feel like a complete :wkr: when giving someone a demo and it just sits there doing nothing. :cry:
