Ok.. Just how easy I'd this to fit, for someone that's normal wiring limits are 13amp plugs?
As wife has offered to buy it for my birthday! Good wife! Lol!
Easy to fit using the scotch locks provided but they seem to be a bit hit n miss.
Mine have been fine so far but a lot of others have had problems and ended up using connectors or as above, soldering the wires for a better connection.

Frankly I would have an auto electrician do it for you given your description of your skill set. It'll only cost a few ££'s.
While for those who have some experience it's the easiest job in the world, but there are some issues to be aware of:
You certainly need to solder the wires as the biggest failure on devices like this that connect to the Canbus is failing physical connectors like Scotchlocks. Where BMW supply them for retrofit they are preloaded with special electrolyte to ensure a good connection. I still solder...
When soldering you need to have things correctly isolated as current from you or the soldering iron can fry components. I use an unplugged soldering iron.
That said if you fancy a try and take your time, find the correct wires, insulate correctly when finished there should be no issue, but satisfaction.
I prefer to use crimped insulated bullet connectors as these have the advantage that, should you need to remove the Gaptech module, it can be unplugged easily with no worries about having to reinsulate exposed wires.
In addition, and this is a personal thing, I don't like using a soldering iron in a confined space such as this - I have leather trim all along the centre console and a slip with the iron could easily scorch the leather.
