car2cover.co.uk they have some good prices and just wondered if anyone had used them?

Thanks

I have a policy with them, hopefully i wont ever have to use it.

We had a policy with Citroen aswell which was underwritten by The Warranty Group who i can say avoid. They tried to get out paying us when teh C2 VTS was written off saying that the subwoofer i fitted was a modification. It took 7 months to get them to pay out after the FOS got involved.

Was not aware that mods were changing the GAP insurance? Must read my policy ...

According to TWG a mod was something that isnt in the manufacturers options book/list. When i asked does this include roof racks, tow bars, car seats, parrot hands free's they couldnt give me a straight answer and said they should be fine. The T&C of these policys is very vague and can be interpreted in a way to invalidate claims so i made sure with car2cover by ringing them as i have £1500 of audio in my car.

Most insurances tend to settle as if the car was standard spec,I thnk GAP is the same, it doesn't include ( usually) accessories, just the basic car.

Most will include manufacturer fitted options and upto a set amount of dealer fitted accessories. car2cover do anyway.
