Hi, has anyone any suggestions what to do with the weird shaped space where the drive button is in cars equipped with it! I just have a silly space that’s good for nothing?

I saw someone on here had put a fake iDrive controller in, you could do that and then put a picture of an iDrive screen on the dashboard.

Or if you want to be more sensible, you could use the small storage space for storing small things.
 
Don’t carry coins or like small objects moving about. I was hoping there was something that slotted in like a cup holder or even better a remote Bluetooth controller …
 
Worth a search on eBay, but I'm not aware of any accessories to go in there. Maybe you could make a cup holder to put in/on there? Seems like it would be in the way though.

No that is 3/8" too wide.
It sits in the pocket of my cardigan. :D

You youngsters with your fancy modern "money"! I always carry half a dozen chickens in my boot to use for barter. It does get a bit tedious driving round for hours to find a car park with an actual human attendant with whom to barter though, because trying to get a chicken into a coin slot is, as I have learnt, a fruitless endeavour - and they don't work for contactless either.

Not offended, if my videos are not for you then fair enough. There are loads of people making videos on YouTube that are entertainment and fast paced, my stuff isn't like that because it can't be it's there to inform properly otherwise it won't work.
At the end of the day I've done my research and then did the job I wanted to do and along the way I filmed it and presented the facts so others can, if they want to, follow in what I've done and maybe try it themselves.
