Got a route sorted now as well,with some nice wee roads, especially one near the end of the run/day(late afternoon probably), which I am looking forward to, especially if a decent day and roads hopefully relatively free of traffic

Update,January 16th,2017........
AS I HAVE POSTED AT THE START OF THE THREAD,
HAVE DECIDED ON SUNDAY 23rd, APRIL. Reasons being it avoids this year's Easter weekend from Friday 14th thru to Monday 17th April,and also the Bank holiday weekend of Friday 28th April through to Monday 1st May.
PROS and Cons for both days.....
If we do Saturday,there may be more traffic,though not always,roads may be just as quite/as busy as Sunday...Hard to say.(not got a crystal ball,haha ).
Saturday would allow those from England/further travelled to come up on Friday night,or Very Early on Saturday morning (meet time is 9a.m,leaving for 9.30...From Ayrshire/location TBC soon)
And would mean Sunday would be a" recovery/rest day" ...And people wouldn't need to possibly take the Monday off??
For those who like to
Sunday would allow people to travel from England on Saturday.......But then be a bit tired come Monday??
Traffic could be less,possibly??,Not possible to say,lol.
Tbh,the routes I have planned are a mix of a and b roads,some which can be hit and miss regards traffic,and others that are more often than not,pretty traffic free,bar the odd other sports car/bikers who enjoy it as we do,and on some occasions is deserted
Anyway,let me know your thoughts asap,and I will go with the Majority,cheers.

Hi Craig3.2, sorry but you will have to count me our on this as either day its a minimum of 170 miles to the start point and whilst the first 70 or so are not too bad I guess the rest are going to b tough going and a minimum of 3 hours.
We cant stay the night before on either due to our dog and I did initially think the drive was to start somewhere nearer to us - hope you guys all have a great day and I look forward to some pics

Think for me personally a Saturday would be better as the week after I am away with work but will endevour to make either work.
