Has anyone used the G3 Professional range of products? My Z badly needs a detail, but the G3pro.com web site make these look like they might just do the job. Now I know I won't get as a professional a job but if I could get close......

OK, used this for the first time last night. Bought it in Halfords. Got the Detox, paint renovator, wax and waffle pads all for €38. Washed the car with Chemical Guys shampoo. Then washed again with the detox and dried. put the renovator on by hand, then the wax by hand and then finally put a coat of Chemical Guys Blitz. All in it took me about two hours of hard work, but the result was amazing. I can't see the swirl marks any more and the colour of the paint just seems to be brighter. Now I know I would have gotten a better result with a DA, but I would not trust myself with one of those! So for a little money and a good effort you can't go wrong!

Only a crappy one from my iPhone I'm afraid.

Nice work.

It's much the same as something like Autoglym BWS, SRP, EGP, HDW or similar kinda process.

Basically a good wash, a good polish/filler, a sealant, and then a glossy wax.

It just takes so damn long to do hehe, so well done on getting it all done in one sitting :D

Hi
Why not try G6, this has the advantage of the grinding particles breaking down in ever smaller pieces the longer it is worked unlike G3 or G10 which remain constant and therefor you require the use of several compounds gradually getting finer and finer.
I have used this to good efect on my Audi.
Just my tuppence worth.
