Here's another photo taken on the Ayrshire coast looking across to the Isle of Arran

That is a cracking photo Jim.

Soooooo close to pulling the trigger on an M40i despite the niggles.

Just go for it John. The M40i is a dream to drive; very quick, comfortable and sounds great. I love my car in spite of the problems I have had with the brakes.

Totally agree. The more I drive the M40i the more I like it. It really does tick all the boxes and I really like the Frozen Orange Matt finish.

No problems other than one wheel squeal issue last week and now we know about this we can keep an eye on it.

Another one agreeing here. I got it back from being detailed and ceramic coated yesterday and it looks better than when I picked it up. Drove home in manual mode in sport all the way home. It’s so fast and I love it more and more. Now on 1137 miles and can’t wait for summer.

Out and about today. First time with the roof and windows down for any length of time.
Weather fabulous and M40i sounds fantastic with the roof down.
The low sun really made the Frozen Orange stand out so thought I'd add a few photo's.

The light helped a lot today.

Very sure you’ll enjoy your M40i when it arrives and don’t panic about the matt paint. It’s not too difficult to look after with the right products.

Now that’s a colour I like, very similar to the Mini/MG flips around 2005 IMO looks really good on the G29

Thanks I was a bit anxious for the result when ordering it, but it turned out really great, especially with the "bronze"-couloured trim around the car

Thanks, photos were taken in Belgium, the ardennes fun roads for driving.
A lot of twists and turns, almost no traffic and a 90km/h speed limit
I did 700km that weekend, once the weather becomes a bit nicer again i want to go back now that the engine is properly driven in
