I’m sure that green wrapped one belonged to someone on here? There was a post about a scuff to a wrapped bumper not too long ago?

That’s Raven’s car. It had an awesome wrap like the paint some MG’s and some Mini’s had

https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=120227&p=1720075#p1720075

Ah yep! That’s the one. I used to love those MGZRs in that colour!

Maybe this green one has come up somewhere else then on here, as I’ve mixed the two together but have seen both before!

A strong look for a main dealer forecourt!

The Rover 75 MG carried the colour really well

I haven’t seen the one we’re discussing before and as you say very strong for a main dealer.

That’s what I mentioned earlier that I was surprised they were retailing as an AUC when it wasn’t stock. It’s also appeared on AT and in the description on there it says they wrapped it brand new and you could keep it green or they’d return it to stock. I think it’s fully loaded and back to stock it would probably sell quickly

[ref]ori[/ref],

So have m40i gone up in value from when I purchased 6 months ago?
We steel any car are offering me the same as what I paid at a main dealer for it now. 4K more than 4 months ago.
Hope they hold their value and I’ll order a new one in a year. ;)

Yes Ori, they’re following the same pattern as 35iS’s and increasing in value. 6/8 months ago you’d have picked up a pre reg with no miles for under £40k IF you can find similar now you’re looking at £45-£47k and the spec on some of them isn’t great

Long may it last!
We steel any car offered 38k for my m40i which is April 2020 car. That’s unbelievable for them. It’s also what I paid for it when it had 1000 miles on the clock.
Let’s see what prices are like in 12 months time.
If prices hold then

WBAC are seemingly offering more money now because they’re retailing directly via Cinch (which they own I think) and not going to auction like previously.

It appears they have started offering at least, if not more, than dealers are offering trade in wise, and of course there’s the extra premium for the faster blue ones like yours

The are still offering peanuts!
This monkey isn’t falling for it - when the time does come to sell I will advertise it on here as I’m confident I will be selling a good car and with the Bmw warranty in place and all the ticks in the service book

No its not mine. Mine was green/purple, bumper is fixed and color has changed now :)

They really aren’t. The latest offer for my car is 40k. That’s amazing.
The m40i is in demand.
If I had a 44k offer it would be gone and a I’ll order a new one. ;)

I think you misunderstand, I was referring to what they had offered for my car (E89) when looking at a new G29 against what they are selling them for.

Decided to check out what WBAC was offering for mine (not that I’ll be selling this any time soon!) as prices seemed higher than expected from them. M40i First Edition-2 years old in June-11000 miles: £38200 :o

This is an very good price from WBAC but does reflect the limited numbers of G29 and the fact the M40i is a fabulous all rounder that will be in demand in years to come!

Obs, that does seem an ok price, slightly higher mileage but BMW have one on their site at not a huge amount more by the time warranty etc added your quoted price seems  but as you say you’re not selling

I would always emphatically encourage people to sell privately and walk into the dealership with cash not a car. They will always try to massively underpay. Your car (if you wanted to) would sell well and without much hassle Ron, there doesn't ever seem to be many 35iS on the market at any time

You’re right there are not a lot of 35is cars about- I think most prolific are 2.0l cars bought by folk with their sensible heads on.

I think the same situation will arise in a few years time with the M40i - unless the government prices petrol cars out of the market!

I was thinking about it but the 35iS is almost 300kg heavier than the E86 and 60kg heavier than the new Z4 coupe.... Supra :P
Someone posted on here recently about the Supra and I dont think it was a good report.
