No, Frankie Boyle comes up with new jokes now and again instead of rhyming off the same stuff. :)

The best jokes are based on the truth though... :fuelfire:
Yep. Not denying that. I dont like the car either, but we have an E89 so in Skelters book my opinion probably means nothing.
Jokes are great right up until you have heard them a dozen times and then they are just boring and unfunny.
Its a bit like words and phrases that you hear or read like "its not an M" "it feels like an event" "its a GT car"
The first time you read these its fine but after that its just people repeating what others have said, possibly from Top Gear etc. and is boring.
:D

Or "its a drivers car"
Should probably start a thread for all these phrases and people can add their own. :)

Another very cheap M40i here - https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201906149009278

£37,770 with under 4k miles on the clock and fitted with Tech & Comfort packs - so almost £15k depreciation :o

If it keeps that rate up, I'll take it for under £10k at 18mths old with 12k miles :P

I can’t wait! The M40i is going to be the replacement for my M135 in 7/8 months time. Seems used will be the way to go!

£30k for a 20i :o you have to wonder just how far , how fast these are going to go :( its going to be interesting to see where they sit at the 12 month period & at which point they level out :? plummeting like they are it would be no surprise to see them at £25k

I saw 3 today in and around Lancaster - a black one on the go looked very striking I have to say, I can see them turning heads, and they all had the roof up too.

I spoke to a salesman at a dealership yesterday and he admitted sales of the car were slow - they had a 3.0l in the showroom, its been there for six weeks or more. It is black with light coloured leather and looks very good, so its not the colour combo putting folk off!

Nothing much is selling atm regardless of manufacturer. Brexit uncertainty it seems

I took delivery of my Z4 in April and so far have not seen another one on the road in my area since then. Also, I never saw any in Florida while I was on holiday there for two weeks in July. Looks like not many are getting sold or the owners are hiding them away. :D :driving:

£11k difference between these 2 40i :o both under 20 miles on clock so both effectively new cars , must be a massive difference in spec :?

That's a huge discount....must be the dealer looking to take a loss on this to shift units for the quarterly number. I've honestly seen more 2019 plate Mk 3 TT's than Z4's around essex....not a good sign i guess :?

That Red one looks priced correctly to me and the Blue one is massively overpriced, the spec is the same. Unfortunately these are following the same depreciation pattern as other new BMWs so 25% discount for an ex-demo seems about right. Good news if you're in the market for one, not so good if you paid a premium to have one of the first!

I've seen a handful on the road around me, I was counting at one point but not anymore. Mostly all 20i/ 30i models tho, the M40i is at least a bit more exclusive...

Also I had a Mk3 TT before and that was never a common car even after 4 years, don't really see loads about.

You don't see many Mk3 TT's around.....are you kidding? There are soooooo many of them around in Essex, I genuinely think there are more of these than Z4/Boxster/370z/GT86 combined.

Same in Lancs , I see multiple Mk3 TT on a daily basis , usually white  a neighbour has one , my cousin has one

Like the Golf R, there were some silly priced lease deals on the Mk3 TT for £250 a month for a while which created a spate of buyers.
