I have seen a few folk ask about about a boot liner for the G29, and i believe one is available, somewhere, but at a cost. ££££

I happened to be in ,,,, Aldi, the other day, and they had a universal boot liner, for £4.99 so i thought ide give it a try..
Needed a bit of trimming to fit, but it certainly beats forking out £100 + for one...

What is it made of. It looks quite substantial.

Will be paying a visit to Aldi tomorrow as it looks a lot easier to clean than carpet when I put dirty golf gear in there.

Its made of a flexible rubber type material, easy to work with and easy to cut/trim with a pair of quality scissors.... Certainly will help keep the carpet clean...

Cheers. Didn't get to Aldi today, much too wet

Got one today and looks good quality for the price. Off to Italy for a week from tomorrow so will fit it when I come back. Thanks for the heads up

I saw this on the Dutch Z4 group on FB https://www.facebook.com/p/Lun-art-tufting-studio-61558455999084/?locale=en_GB

Thanks for the heads up Dave! I was looking at something similar on ebay, but they were £9.99, so £4.99 is a steal. And looks more than good enough to do what i need.

I would probably unbolt the anchor points and trace around them, then cut the mat to get a more fitted finish. In fact, you dont even need to unbolt them, you could simply use the plastic covers as a template. Let me raid Aldi and see what they have !

A week ago my local Aldi had about a dozen. Purchased mine and fitting tomorrow in anticipation of a dirty golf trolley being in the boot on Friday

Now fitted in 10 minutes and looks great. Easy to cut with scissors and the design makes it easy to get the right fit.

Big thumbs up to Bigdave

Another one fitted ! Thanks Dave !

Although its easy to cut with a pair of scissors, I got a cleaner edge using a stanley blade on a piece of scrap wood, and cutting slightly at 45degrees to give it a much cleaner looking edge.
