Hello,

Last month I decided on a new (and hopefully the final) color for the Z, and took it to the paintshop, I already posted some pictures of the result in my welcome post, but since i keep getting asked if its a wrap  , ill post some of the pictures of the process here :)

PS: Im sorry for the phone format of most pictures, but they were meant for instagram :P

Top marks
A superb looking car and there has obviously been some skill and effort gone into the project!

Great thread..given the labour effort I guess this was not cheap…may we ask how much?

Is it a metallic?

What’s the colour code?

I think that’s one of the most gorgeous colours I’ve seen on any car

+1, all it now needs is it’s black wheels to finish it off :poke:

If BMW produced them in colours like this I feel they may have sold many more. It’s the one thing I’m really hoping for with the lci, more power etc would be nice but more colours would be even better IMO

There’s a GM colour called Black Rose for the old Corvette that’s very similar in colour

Are you being tempted for a repaint already?
I do like my red zed, however I would really love a Stryker Red zed

All in a little over 12.000 euro including taxes i think, but this includes replacement car for a month and unwrapping and paintcorrection.

Hesitated for a long time between both, the black rose has a dark purple base and transitions to red, now it's almost the oposite, the base is a little more red, and then it shifts to purple. But decided to go with this one because it was a bmw color :)

That was my first thought, funnily enough, but it does look more purple than the burgundy of Merlit red.
