I was refering to the supercharger warranty itself not the one on the car (which expired years ago!). If you fit it properly yourself then would they pay out for a problem with the kit?
Ca-automotive charge £700 to fit the ESS systems which is a bit saving if you have the skills. The ESS system is supposed to be DIY fittable.
Don't forget the Si also has a 3.23 final drive as opposed to 3.07 for the pre-facelift. Suppose the power and torque delivery might be better on the S/C version, not saying it isn't a viable proposition or anything, but it never quite seems to work out.tomTVR said:Even the 286bhp version would smoke an si but for the investment i would want more than that i think.
