Might as well take advantage of some COVID WFH savings and a very good discount to 'upgrade' a little. It was either this or a CSL intake & Alpha-N anyway, and that would have been over £2k.

I'm definitely tempted, but I'd like to know I've actually got a serviceable engine & upgraded clutch before I put any upgrades on it :x

Can I just verify that the S54 kit is specifically for the Z4M and not the e46 M3 - as I know some tuners offer a slightly different kit depending whether it's for Z4M or M3 S54...and the M3 one is usually the cheaper option.

Answered my own question as I've just found their parts list for both the e46 M3 and Z4M, and the basics are the same, but the mounting kits are different.

I don’t think the n52 is as over-engineered as the other engines, they’d probably get fed up with customers calling to say their engine bay’s covered in magnesium shrapnel and oil

ESS do a N52 kit (for an additional 80-100bhp), but obviously is not part of this G-Power/Infinitas group buy (so will be about $5000 plus shipping, plus VAT)

Well maybe one day! I told G Power all the interest in the n52 engine I was getting and they said their engineers are going to look into building one possibly!

I'm going to try do it myself. G power say you can DIY it in about 6-8 hours. If i fail I'll Bring it down to my local tuner that reckons he'll fit it for about 300 - 400 quid

And I have finally got what I have so long been looking for, a good price on a supercharge kit.

After quite a lot of back and forth with Infinitas (G power) we came to an agreement on prices. Which I should add are utterly excellent.

What I have to offer is a Supercharger kit both the Z4M (475hp kit), and also the 3.0i (300hp kit)

G power supercharger kit for 3.0i = €2015/£1723/$2368

G power supercharger kit for Z4M = €3845/£3289/$4520

These prices include shipping to most countries!! The likes of countries in Asia may be more but for the likes of us in Europe and USA we're safe

.In terms of tax and duty

If you live in either the EU or Northern Ireland (me)
You will pay the standard German 19% VAT
Which works out to
3.0i = €2398/£2050
Z4M = €4575/£3914

If you live in England, Scotland or Wales
You will pay 2% import duty (if the government site isn't lying to me) Then 20% on top
Which works out to
3.0i = £2109
Z4M = £4026

Unfortunately for USA and other countries you will have to work out your own import duty as I couldn't be bothered

I sat and stared at these prices for a long time, I recalculated a couple of times as they were almost too hard to believe, but I am assured they are correct.

Now the condition. I was only able to get these prices on the basis of a group buy.
We need 10 people to take the Z4M kit to get that price.
And we need 15 people to take the 3.0i

Currently we are on
3 people for Z4M kit
2 People for 3.0i kit.

If there's interest I can also ask the question about the 2.5i etc and see if there are options for them!

I've been looking and the truth is that it has an interesting price, within how expensive these kits tend to be. I wanted to ask if the price with shipping includes VAT? The shipment would be to Spain, so there would be no customs problem?

I also understand that when paying, you should speak with g-power, to pay them directly, saying that we are part of the joint purchase?

EU sales should have local VAT charged at point of sale - so there should be no extra charges to pay on a sale to Spain (just the prices above including delivery + VAT)…so €2223+vat.

UK sales may be slightly different, as I’m not sure whether G-Power will charge the VAT directly or leave it up to UK customs to bill the customer. Either way is fine by me

Yes as mmm-five mentions its just vat at point of sale. So if youre in Spain. You would have to pay the German 19% vat.

Which would bring it to €2633 all in.

With payment I imagine g power will accept payments individually from each person in the group buy. But i will get confirmation just to be sure!

Ah I see the confusion. Prices underwent a change after all versions of m54 and e46/e85 were added. They had originally misquoted me for a part. Bit of a long story but the new price list on top is the accurate one. I will change the old section of the post to match now.
