E86M with nav. When I purchased the car, I connected to the factory Bluetooth (BT) for phone calls only. I then installed this cheap $30 BT adaptor (eBay: Bluetooth 5.0 Car JieRui-BT 5908) and used voice commands to play music and open maps, etc. Sound quality is fabulous.
The issue was each time I issued a command “Siri play next song”, or “Siri, take me home”, the Nav screen would open. Very frustrating.
Solution: I disconnected my phone from the FACTORY BT and use the third party adaptor for all functions - music, maps, calls (it has a mic). The Nav screen now does not pop up with each command.
Small negative is that whilst the steering wheel volume controls work, the fast forward/back do not but I use voice commands for everything. Siri and Google work much better than the Factory voice commands and clunky phone controls.
