Fuse box location

Hi

Before I start stripping the car to pieces to find the fusebox I have a problem with the left rear fog light - Coming up on screen as a failure but the bulb is ok? I've replaced it with a new one just to be sure but no further forward.

So, bascially before I do anything else is this a common problem and can anyone recommend a course of action, oh and the location of the fuse box.

Underneath the glove box.

Thought so, took panel off yesterday but could not see the fusebox - do I need to actually remove the whole glove box to gain access?
 
If i remember right there are a couple of plastic screws and it should drop down and slide out towards you.

Is a right b*rstard :headbang:
 
FWIW the bulb carrier can become less than positive in its mount, maybe spring pressure reduced maybe corrosion, that flags up the bulb error but the bulb maybe is OK..I have it on mine (2011 light clusters known to have had a bit of moisture in them)..

I get spurious messages, usually at start and then they tend to go away..happens mostly on the left but sometimes on the right..the holders feel pretty loose in their mounts...
 
Ahhhhh - that makes sense, thank you.

I'll check the terminals on the bulb holder and see if thats the issue.
