Hi,
I cant find the fuse box on my 2005 2.2 z4. I have tryed to look for clips in the glovebox to no avail.
Any help will be greatfull.
:)

The gas strut that controls the fall of the glovebox has two little clips at the top of it. Just squeeze them together slightly and it pops out. Fuse box is behind there.

hope that helps...

Tryed to squeeze every thing at the top of the strut but its not happening. The thing is im very good with cars but cant find it in the glovebox i dont think its in the glovebox in my car.

Hi G10

You have identified the strut in question but the release clips are at the bottom of the strut where it meets the glovebox itself not the top - bit difficult to see but if you feel around the bottom of the strut you'll find 2 squeeze clips - squeeze the together and the strut/glovebox separate. It won't drop down at this point.

You then need to get on your hands and knees and shine a torch up at the top edge of the rear wall of the glovebox. The are two push button clips here one on the left and one on the right - push these in simultaneously and the glovebox drops down.

Fueses etc are now visible. If you have an owners manual, more precise instructions are in there.

It took me a few goes first time.....
