Funny Signs ...

Well chaps

I noticed the theme thread regarding the photo competition "funny sign" and it lost which is such a shame as I had a beauty! I took a pic of this form my travels, last month I know it’s childish but noticed the funny sign one and thought why not! :D

Anyone else got strange backgrounds / signs that they have taken pictures of?... or maybe just me :rofl:
 
Some really funny ones there... always good to laugh at!

There's a chain of shops in Germany that sell coffee that is called 'Minges'. We went in one and the shop assistant said that they sell their own-brand coffee purely for the amusement of the English-speaking tourists. We bought some too. He he he... :thumbsup:

I also like the fact that 'bookshop' is 'boghandel' in a number of European languages...

Stuart, that Church sign is just great... you can't imagine how that one got past the designer / client approval stage.... :thumbsup: :rofl:
 
This thread should come with a health warning... just shown this thread to hubby who is lying on the floor with bad back and he's trying so hard not to laugh coz it hurts :?

The petrol station in milnthorpe cumbria that i pass each week... went through very early in the morning and saw this.... i nearly crashed laughing!

Love the petrol station!

It reminds me of those red LED animated display boards that loads of businesses had a few years ago. We found out that you could program them using one of those all4one remotes... can't tell you how much fun we had on our lunch hour re-programming our competitors' sign from our office across the road... until we realised out they were doing the same to ours... :oops:
