I would just like to start off with this. For those of you that are against the whole having fun on the street's thing here are a few things to defend our "ricer" "boy racer" fun:

1. me and our group of friend's do not do this near other motorist's
2. we only do this with our friends and we do not race or go past other innocent life's that aren't racing...
3. we do not do this on busy road's or go between car's or take turns like a real race track.(less likely to lose control)
4. we only go in a straight line.
5. we only put ourselves and each other in danger.
6. the nearest drag strip is an hour and a halfs drive away from us and the closest track is about 6 hours drive away from us.
Now please, enjoy or hate and move on. just posting this for the fellow members that might enjoy the video.

ranting about how this is dangerous and so on isn't doing anything other than voicing your opinion which I'm ok with because I understand I'm posting this for the members here to view (including the ones against this type of racing) and I realize I might not like all the responses. I'm only saying that if you don't like the video move on. you have the right to comment on this post if you choose to comment negatively about it but, I do not really care about the "this is illegal and unsafe" comments. also this is late at night so not many people are on the street's at this time and there are no sidewalk's on both sides of the road.

I know I have broken the speed limit in my time and been caught twice! I have learnt that there is a time and place. And it seems like you have both bases covered.

You have to remember that when it does go wrong, you are going to feel terrible. Or cold.

nope. I'm a typical young adult! "i am unstoppable and invincible! nothing can happen to me!"
In all seriousness we are just trying to have a little fun without trying to endanger others. about a year ago or so I would be that typical guy flying between cars in traffic everyday to work. now I only do pulls with friends in a straight line late at night on roads without oncoming lanes.
we are all aware of the danger and risk that we go through. one rule we have is you don't come with us if you "didn't sign up for this" it is never a spur of the moment thing. it is more so a "we are going to do some pulls on the way to go eat."

The fact that you had to write two posts to try and justify what you were doing in the video says it all really.

haha Exactly what I was thinking, sound like he's trying to convince himself  :fuelfire:

Not trying to justify my/our actions at all. I am only trying to explain the precautions that we take to minimize the risk for other innocent life's that aren't apart of our fun. I'm well aware of my actions and risk's that come with it and the negative response I will and have gotten from others. Posted the video for those of you no matter how few actually might enjoy the video. That being said. I respect your opinions and will not keep on explaining to seem innocent and act like it isn't wrong. :)

Yep you are just trying to have a bit of fun, its a shame nowadays you are not allowed to have fun as everything is illegal.
Even if you are doing something in a safe manner, the powers that be can think of a way to get some money out of you in fines.

The other thing I would say is, get your guys to save up for a trip to the track and spend a day there. Going round a track is truly a great experience. You will love the surface, the bends and the fact that everyone is going in the same direction!!

yes we plan on it sometime at the start of next year. main thing is timing... we all work completely different hour's and most of my car guy friends that I do this with are hard enough to get ahold of for even nights like this just to meet somewhere and drive somewhere to eat. most of my friends are newly married, getting married, have a child or just go in late at night for work. :( just going out to drive with each other like in the video really only happens for us once every month or so. :headbang:

And for those of you that are thinking we are being stupid just compare my video to this one. Same city, same area's, just a different group of car enthusiast's having fun on the streets in a much safer way. As I said, we do not do what these guys are doing in the video. :poke: if there are innocent lives around us we will not speed. and nor do we race on the highway or speed on it.
SKIP TO 12:15 INTO THE VIDEO FOR THE CRAZINESS.
