Had a bit of fun with an Audi A5 3.0 tdi Quattro on my way home last night (obviously on clear roads and completely within the national speed limits applicable at the time 
). They are really quite fast for a large-ish car - checked the spec on one when I got home and there's really nothing in it between it and my 3.0si aside from the huge amount of torque the A5 produces, which I guess counts for a lot on the road.
