Fuming women driver

Update after about 14 months all sorted settled out of court roll on to yesterday would you believe it car parked with wife in passenger seat and yes another white suv reverses into the front again IS THIS CAR JINXED anyway all sorted going in for repair 6th feb just paint damage that I can see so full front bumper respray which to be honest it needed anyway as had been peppered since replaced

Exact same thing happened to me years ago.
Behind a 4x4 at lights when he reversed, still no idea why. He was all apologetic and said his insurance would sort it. A few days later his Insurance contacted me saying that I'd bumped into him!
Took months to sort it but I got my car sorted in the end.
It happened before camera phones, which are a bonus today I suppose .

Zed being picked up today for repair work again think it’s a full front end respray at least it will be fresh again for the summer and a little plus have a golf gti to play around in till it’s fixed will put it through its paces later

Well after having the golf gti for a few days now I can confirm that what a disconnect drive it is fast yes fun maybe but feels really disconnect from road I still beam ear to ear while driving my z4 unlike the golf oh well can’t wait to get my zed back now

Well today is d,day get my zed back from body shop with full front respray and wing just hope it’s up to standard as if not he will be taking it straight back the last time it was repaired not by them it came back with really noticeable orange peel to the lacquer had to wait a further 2 days for it to be rectified.But really hoping for no dramas today to be honest I have had fun in the hire car (GTI) but I have missed my beautiful zed come home now please

Update went to pick up yesterday and front bumper was awesome work but wing was a complete different story orange peel city NOT HAPPY full of apology’s said they will put it right roll on another 2 days I think poor show Howard basfords now nationwide :!:

And the saga continues car arrived and not happy at all orange peel still showing in quite a few places and then I see this not acceptable at all so back it goes again

I know I had already pulled them on the orange peel and they were ment to put this right and the car went through a quality check think the guy should have gone to specsavers :x

Did they fit the badge with a hammer? I had similar angst with the repair on my car, I think they must rush the jobs through with the result being that quality suffers! :evil:

Unreal....but reality most people won't even look and jump straight back in their car. Good luck getting it sorted, but tbh if that's what they feel is ok they're probably not good enough to do a decent job.
